The AGM held on the 7th March was an enjoyable night and we would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the evening. A special thanks to all the committee members and supporters, including the staff and volunteers in Mulanje, who have once again done a tremendous job over the last year to keep FOMO running and to expand our facilities in Mulanje.
Though there were bits and bobs of maintenance carried out in Mulanje, the major event was the opening on time, of the FOMO Independent Secondary School (FISS) which is a fantastic additional resource to increase the number of available secondary school places in Malawi. The commitment to education, health, food security and activities FOMO’s main focus, though we do a lot more, and your continued support over the next year will be vital to continuing FOMO’s programmes.
During the AGM thanks were given to the out going committee and a new committee was elected as follows:

  • Gillian Coxhead – Chair
  • Mary Woodworth – Finance
  • Keith Woodworth – Secretary
  • Audrey Toft – Minutes Secretary
  • Jean Smallwood – Member
